We have balanced this need for processing against your rights and our processes do not infringe them. If you wish to know more on how we balanced this please email:- privacy@levenmediagroup.co.uk.

Below are the ways we process personal data and the legitimate interest we use.

  • We have a legitimate interest for directly marketing to businesses and their organisations point of contact. The disproportionate effort that it would take for LMG to directly market to each individual would not warrant the return on effort investment. We believe in balance that using your personal data to directly market to you will have minimal impact on rights and will not cause you any harm.

  • We have a legitimate interest for transferring personal data to internal organisations or departments. LMG share data organisationally, meaning that all sections and subsidiaries can use your data. This helps with logistics, directly marketing related products and services and updating individuals preferences and details. We believe in balance that using your personal data across all facets of our organisation will have minimal impact on you.

  • We also directly market to readers who are engaged with our services using our legitimate interest. The disproportionate effort that it would take for LMG to directly market to each individual would not warrant the return on effort investment. By reviewing our engaged audience regularly, we believe that on balance, using your personal data to directly market to you will have minimal impact on your rights and will not cause you any harm.

In every instance where we apply the lawful basis of legitimate interest to process your personal data by means of contact and/or marketing to you, we will provide an easy to use "Opt-Out" facility. This ensures you are provided with the means to express your request for us to cease the processing of your personal data, at which point we will erase the data and not contact you again - as such complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
